A whole house renovation where no detail was overlooked, worked through closely with the owner to respect the character of the original building.
Outdoor cabinetry has to deal with damp, frost and direct sun, which rules out most of what works indoors. The cabinetry used here carries a woodgrain finish over a weatherproof substrate, so it reads as timber and behaves like something built for outside.
Layout matters more outdoors than most people expect. Grill, prep space and storage have to work for someone cooking with their back to the house and guests in front of them.
